I spend my days at Avatron Software in Portland’s awesome Pearl district. I left Apple to found Avatron in 2008, when the iPhone SDK was released.
By night I haunt the streets with my ocarina, singing chansons to passersby and occasionally screaming semi-coherent conspiracy gibberish about the Freemasons can often be found at Jimmy Mak’s or at a tech meetup.
UPDATE: I’m so sad Jimmy Mak’s is no more. In its stead though, Portland and Vancouver are seeing a renaissance of earnest little jazz clubs.
